Yogurt contains lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid, that dissolves dead skin cells. When topically applied to the skin, a velvety yogurt face mask will help moisturize, fight acne, prevent premature aging, relieve sunburn, and reduce discoloration
Cucumbers contain vitamin C and caffeic acid, which are a good treatment for dry skin, sun damage and help fend off wrinkles.
Mint is a strong antibacterial that can be useful for acne and is a strong cleanser for sebum or other pollutants. Also, mint is a natural soothing and moisturizer for having a radiant skin.
What you’ll need:
2 large cucumbers (chopped)
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (chopped very finely)
2 tbsp. plain unflavored yogurt
How to use:
- Peel the cucumbers and pulse them in a food processor or blender until they become a smooth consistency. Strain the pureed cucumber through a paper towel to remove all excess water.
- Mix the cucumber, mint, yogurt in the food processor, and pulse until fully combined.
- Store your mint mask in a jar and keep refrigerated until you’re ready to use it. Before you do, microwave it for 1 minute (or heat on stovetop until lukewarm).
- Apply to cleansed skin (works best after a hot shower) and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and you’ll have fresh, supple skin!
