This special & stressful situation that has ruled the world, has prevented the fashion world from showing off on the red carpet of ceremonies. The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards is one of them will be held virtually in and around the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles on March 14, 2021, by host Trevor Noah.
Recently Golden Globes 2021 was held virtually nearly two months later than usual time, and the nomination shared their style from their home. Only the hosts were present at the place of the ceremony and provided a brief condition for red carpet photography.
Since we don’t know whose style, we will see certainly other than the style of the performers, we’re taking a look at the controversial styles on the Red Carpet in the last Grammy Awards in 2020.
Billie Eilish, Gucci Again
At the Grammys, Eilish was head-to-toe in custom, crystal-embroidered Gucci with GG logoed jogging pants and a matching baggy bowling shirt, worn over a lime green turtleneck with puffed sleeves. She added emerald leather Flashtrek sneakers that were embellished with green crystals.
Ariana Grande, Gray Princess
Ariana Grande wore a ball gown with a 20-foot-wide skirt. Grande’s custom gown was designed by Giambattista Valli. Ariana Grande’s Style was one of the best in the 62nd Grammy Awards.
Cardi B in Custom Mugler
Cardi B skipped the 2020 Grammy Awards red carpet but snuck into the ceremony with her husband Offset after the show had already begun. Cardi wore a sheer, sexy, and sparkling Mugler gown to the show. Such a crystal-embroidered dress is very ideal for her, as Cardi B attaches great importance to radiance and jewelry.
Dua Lipa from Vintage Time
Dua Lipa’s style brought the past to the present! She wore a mid-waisted maxi slip skirt, paired with a white silk top featuring a draped front, from designer Alexander Wang. Dua’s jewelry and makeup completed the retro vibe. She wore a single-strand diamond choker and matching line bracelet and her makeup was inspired from the 1970s.
Although Alicia Keys, the host of the 62nd Grammy Awards, appeared in five different styles, the best one was this look from Atelier Versace which embodied all the things we expect from the Grammy’s best dress.
Lizzo Like an Old Hollywood Star
Lizzo shined on Grammys 2020 red carpet like an old Hollywood star. She has worn a strapless embellished white gown from Atelier Versace that boasted a slit up to her left leg. Draped around her frame was a white fur wrap that elegantly grazed the floor on either side. Her hair, also, gave off that 1920s look, as her side-parted locks cascaded down in loose ringlet curls.
Billy Porter: Controversy Once More
Billy Porter rocked the red carpet at the Grammy Awards in a bright blue crystal jumpsuit by Baja East. The Pose star also donned a matching hat with a silver fringe that opened and closed mechanically. it’s a fun and new idea that has not been seen in fashion before.
